VA480 with 2 feet of ½ ID Tubing to connect to Via Aqua 380, 620 or 680 Aquarium- $13.99

• Replaces Via Aqua 680 & 380 aquarium pumps with a more powerful/reliable pump. However the Via Aqua 480 needs to be slightly reconfigured, but this only takes a little DIY ability (I would not recommend purchase for this application if the end user is not good at DIY). Once reconfigured, this is a stronger more durable pump. There are many ways to configure the 480 to replace the existing pump on your 380 and 680 aquarium, however the most simple way from my experience is to NOT place the 480 on the "hanger" as the existing pump, rather simply use one of the attachments that come with the 480 pump and place the pump near the bottom and run vinyl tubing to the existing filter pick up (elbow and spray bar) at the top of the aquarium. With this configuration you will not need the pick up tube and strainer (the pump has its own direct pick up and strainer).
